    National Stick Dancers performed the traditional Emirati Harbiya at Mercato in just one of the many traditional events held across the country.
    Stalls at Mercato mall did a brisk trade in UAE flag branded items such as hats, flags, scarves and other novelty goods as families got into the spirit of the celebration.
    UAE nationals both young (right) and old celebrated UAE National Day at Jebel Hafeet.
    Getting in on the action, groups of Emirati divers spread the UAE flag across the seas in front of Emirates Palace marina in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
